操作系统：CentOS 5.5
（1）安装MySQL
在该操作系统上安装MySQL最方便的方法是使用yum进行安装：
[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# yum install mysql-server(有时网络比较慢的话，会花费较多的时间，如何配置本地yum源的方法，我将在另一篇blog上做详细的介绍)
（2）查看MySQL是否启动
安装完MySQL以后，可以查看一下当前mysql是否已经启动：
[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# netstat -tl | grep mysql
tcp 0 0 *:mysql *:* LISTEN
如果是像上面这样的输出，说明mysql已经成功启动了。如果没有输出，说明mysql还没有启动。 （3）启动MySQL 可以使用如下命令启动MySQL. To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands: /usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password' /usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -h localhost.localdomain password 'new-password' Alternatively you can run: /usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation which will also give you the option of removing the test databases and anonymous user created by default. This is strongly recommended for production servers. See the manual for more instructions.
