Today I finished the book -- Introduction to processing digital pictures. I found the flow of encoding anddecoding of JPEG is so similiar to the flow of H.264. But the author of that book is not a good teacher, eventhough not a good programmer. It is unhappy to read his codes. The explanation of JPEG is not good too. Idoesn't know what he said.
I always bother how I can become a embeded system programmer. Tan huisheng told me today, he will go to a company engage in developing software on H.264. I am elder about 4 years than him. I do know what he reallymaster. Now I have to fact up to a difficulty, I have not any testing device to learn embeded system.
There are some workmates who also study ARM. Except for reading some PDF file, they can do nothing. I alsoread some articles on ARM. What is ARM? ARM is the abbreviation for Advanced RISC Machines. Reduced InstructionSet Computer is abbreviated to RISC. ARM usually is meant a chip, it is so popular nowadays. It is so tiny,and support two kinds of instructions: 32bits ARM intruction set and 16bits Thumb intruction set. The aboveARM9 can be compatible to the DSP intruction set.
It is not easy to understand those registers in the ARM chip.
